Acclaimed F5 gold-level partner spins channel business off to form ADAPTURE Technology Group, LLC and transitions F5 partnership

ATLANTA, July 1, 2013–CentricsIT has been selected as the F5 UNITY Growth Partner of the Year and will be honored at the upcoming F5 Agility partner and customer summit July 30-31. This accolade comes as the company officially announces the transition of all its channel business to the newly formed ADAPTURE Technology Group, LLC. ADAPTURE President Robert Pastor will attend the F5 Agility summit to accept the award on behalf of CentricsIT and ADAPTURE.

Pastor comes to ADAPTURE from ProSys, Inc. with over 30 years of experience managing top-level accounts and high-performing sales, professional services, and technology leasing teams. “What a great way to launch ADAPTURE,” Pastor mused. “I’m excited and honored to accept the Growth Partner of the Year award at Agility this year. CentricsIT has cultivated a fruitful relationship with F5 Networks as a gold partner, and ADAPTURE is positioned to take that relationship to the next level. We’ve been working hard to ensure a virtually seamless transition for CentricsIT’s F5 customers, and F5 is 100% behind the transition. We’re ready to do more great things with this partnership.”

The F5 UNITY Partners of the Year awards recognize partners that demonstrate superior account management, customer service, and technical insight. ADAPTURE inherits gold partner status from CentricsIT, and the company intends to further increase F5 technology sales and support and advance the professional services area of the partnership, distinguishing itself from CentricsIT, a company that specializes in surplus and secondary market IT.

“We’re narrowing the focus on both sides to better serve our customers,” explained CentricsIT President Derek Odegard. “With the channel side of the business being handled proficiently by ADAPTURE, CentricsIT can continue to establish itself as a distinct leader in the secondary hardware, IT asset disposition, and third-party maintenance markets. We’re completely separating the two businesses because it makes more sense to our two disparate customer bases, and they appreciate that.”

Current CentricsIT customers are encouraged to contact their account representatives or email [email protected] with any questions related to the transition. For more information, contact Marketing Communications at [email protected].
