ATLANTA, June 17, 2016 — Gary Humphrey, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at ADAPTURE, has been named to the PowerMyLearning board of directors for the Greater Atlanta Region.  Humphrey was selected on June 10 after being nominated by the PowerMyLearning Executive Director, Kwame Johnson.

PowerMyLearning is a national non-profit that leverages technology to strengthen the learning relationships among students, teachers and families so that all students can succeed. The non-profit partners with schools, districts and after-school hubs to provide teachers with coaching and students and parents with devices and training.

“I am excited about joining the local PowerMyLearning board of directors,” Humphrey said. “I have always had a passion for students and the mission is great. I accepted the nomination with hopes of joining the other board members in efforts to extend the reach of PowerMyLearning in the Atlanta area. I would like to see more schools served and more corporations support this initiative to bridge the digital divide so our students can succeed.”

Humphrey joined ADAPTURE in 2015 to help the company maintain good relationships with its clients and achieve business goals. He has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry and also serves as President of ATP.
